I love peonies! When I was planning my wedding a couple years ago I desperately wanted to use peonies for my bridal bouquet. Unfortunately, I was getting married in the Fall and it was impossible to find peonies during that time of year. Since then, I always try to get a bunch or two when they’re available in the spring and this year, our local Trader Joe’s was carrying some pretty hot pink ones. When I purchased them they were still closed buds but within 2 days they had opened up into these gorgeous (and enormous) blooms! So beautiful. They are really quite photogenic flowers!
